It’s been a very busy few weeks here.

Where to begin… well. Hmm.

The site sever move went relatively well, but we have run into some small problems. Turns out our “unlimited” account really isn’t that unlimited. So we may be doing another site move for everything once we can find a hosting company that doesn’t suck and can do what we need to do. I miss my hosted box at Godaddy, but it was way too expensive every month and I have had it for almost 5 years. The same box, spinning away… costing me the same amount every month… no depreciation value applied even though more powerful systems packages are available. Hmmm. Thanks godaddy! Been great being your customer, but really… jeeeze!

On other fronts, I have been writing up a storm on a Feature film script I originally conceptualized over two years ago after I got back from London. It sat there for a long time before I started writing it in Final Draft this past week or so. I am now 30 pages in and its really taking shape.  So that’s a good thing for sure.

In addition to all of this ‘out of your frakk’ing mind’ busy activity I managed to record a new tutorial video and I am trying to get it encoded and uploaded today. This one is a lot of fun and combines several concepts I have covered into a “Practical Production Techniques” Volume One video. There will be more in this series, and while it touches on other things I have discussed before it’s important to get those other videos anyway because they are  a bit more in-depth on those specific subjects while this new video series applies them in ways that can be utilized in production, real-world style.

The complexity of these videos will increase and rapidly get more in-depth, exposing the secrets a lot of people don’t want you to know and won’t share with you.  Some of this stuff is even beyond those people. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but what about kats teaching tricks? Or something like that.

On top of everything else going on, there is still the issues from earlier this summer that I can’t get into but may be coming to a head shortly. If it does, oh wow, stand back and watch the fireworks.  Crash and burn must be a popular self-inflicted sport for thick people or something because it seems like that’s the trend these days. Whatever happened to commonsense? Honor and integrity? Well most of the time I am finding with certain types of people, it goes out the door along with the pizza boxes from last night and then deducted as an “expense” of some kind. Brutal.

Character? I will put my character up against that any day of the week.
