Hi.
In about a day or two, I will be posting some Dynamite test scenes. For those of you who have dynamite or have used, it - I would ask, that if you are able to can you contribute your scenes to this effort?

I want to put Bakudan Render to the test with real world example scenes and while I will be throwing in some of my own I know many of you have done some pretty crazy (but still hair pulling) work with it in the past and I would like to see how Bakudan Render performs on those scenes. If you can't provide production shots, don't worry about it. That's not an issue. However if you can transplant the dynamite stuff to a new scene (which should be interesting in itself later on when the rest of the suite comes on line), it would be incredibly beneficial. The idea here is to try and break Bakudan and or bring it to its needs. Kiko and I are both optimization nuts. While I usually optimize to get work through or to get around a problem in a time frame, Kiko is taking the approach of speed, speed and more speed while being stable.

I think I'm going to start a simple downloads thread for people to use as a repository for this stuff. We will get into that shortly I think.

Kat.

Nice, I'll probably make some scenes just for that purpose.

Will be good to see how much it will leverage out of 64bit as opposed to 32bit. Looking forward to testing Kat

Yes, but the real fun will come with GPU assisted calculations. It's coming along but it will still be a while before I can drop more goodies on you guys.

Sorry for the delays.

I should probably nuke this thread since we have abandoned dynamite compatibility. Maybe I will keep it up for comparison between dynamite and bakudan scenes. hmmm...
